women’s circles

A sacred gathering, a ritual, a ceremony. A place where women come to be seen, heard, and held — free of judgment, bound only by sisterhood. Together, we honour the passing of the seasons, the whispers of the moon, and the wisdom within us.

the origins of women’s circles

Women’s circles are an ancient practice* and a sacred container for women** to be held, seen and supported, without judgement or fear. We honour all experiences equally, where each one of us feels heard. We come as we are, embracing the fullness of our experiences, acknowledging the sacredness of the sisterhood.

In this sacred container, we honour the seasonal passing of the wheel of the year — of nature, of life, of ourselves. As the seasons turn, so do we, moving in harmony. We sit in reflection, in ritual, in deep connection with the magic that stirs within.

* Women’s circles originate from an ancient practise of the red tent. During the Neolithic period, women came together in a red tent, symbolising the bleeding week of the month, gathered in a circle, sharing knowledge, wisdom, and laughter, passing this practise through generations of women. Now, women’s circles usually take place under the full moon or other phases of it.

** Our space is open to anyone with a female experience, including non-binary womb folk and queer women.
